James Urban, FASLA, ISA is a landscape architect with over 30 years of experience in the field of urban development and the planting of trees in difficult urban sites. Since 1982, he has been researching and testing ideas related to the installation of trees in the urban environment. This work has brought him into close association and collaboration with many leading arborists, soil scientists, and tree researchers.
